What is Rockford Ambulatory Surgery Center?

Rockford Ambulatory Surgery Center has been serving Rockford and the surrounding communities since August of 1994. Since that time, over 90,000 procedures have been performed in our state-of-the-art facility.

Our goal at Rockford Ambulatory Surgery Center is to provide the highest quality outpatient surgical services and pain management for the best value to our patients, customers and community.

Our facility has met accreditation standards for the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), is certified by Medicare, and licensed by the State of Illinois. The accreditation process sets standards for our practices of patient care, safety, quality efforts, administrative involvement, medical record maintenance and professional development of our staff. This process sets high stardards for us to maintain in order to provide the best quality of patient care.
Because Rockford Ambulatory Surgery Center is independent, physicians are not employed by the facility. You and/or your physician can make the decision to have your procedure at Rockford Ambulatory Surgery Center.

100% patient satisfaction is our main goal.

Because we are interested in meeting our patients' and families' expectations, we request that all of our patients complete and return a Patient Satisfaction Survey.

Our facility has an outstanding record of patient satisfaction. Our standards for high-quality care are demonstrated in our patients' positive responses to our survey. Patients like the follow-up phone calls from our nursing staff and the friendly environment our staff helps to create. We continuously assess how we can improve our facility and the services we offer.

Patient comfort is of the utmost importance. In addition to the warm, comfortable design of the center, our highly trained professional staff makes sure that every outpatient surgical experience is centered around you, the patient.
Rockford Ambulatory Surgery Center is ideal for pediatric surgery. Children are more comfortable at the center because of our warm and personal setting. Our staff offers attentive individualized care for children. Parents stay with their children right up to the time of surgery, and join them in recovery soon after the procedure.
At Rockford Ambulatory Surgery Center, there is minimal paper work during your registration. Due to our unique scheduling system, we anticipate that your surgery will be done on time, so there is less waiting time once you arrive. We offer free parking with a drive-up covered entrance and discharge area.

We view health care as a partnership between you and your caregivers. We respect your rights, values and dignity. We also ask that you recognize the responsibilities that come with being a patient, both for your own well-being as well as for that of your fellow patients and caregivers. Please read and exercise these rights and responsibilities as outlined here.
